We make robots, right? We want some of them to look like us, humans. They might even have feelings, somehow, and plans for the future. Crazy. Why do we do this? Do we relly need this? I guess so...
We build robots. We "teach" them everything we know. In a few (dozen) years we will be able to send them to different planets in the universe. They are mechanical, so not necessarily to a planet that matches our living conditions but theirs. Easier than to find a new home for us.
There is a famous book, in which this sentence lies:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. What if we are doing the very same thing that this so called God did? In my theory, there was "life": it might have been very different. Think outside the box, when I say life I don't necessarily mean DNA/RNA-based life, not even carbon based life. Something with a bit of intelligence. Don't ask me what intelligence is, I don't know - I'm not intelligent enough. Let's assume there was something which was able to create things. Some pretty clever and ingenious chemists, who liked paying around with carbon.
And here we are, after a few years of evolution and education, making our own selves into robots.
